What we collect
- Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics) — anonymous, aggregated events about how features are used (view modes, actions, upgrade-flow steps). File paths are never sent raw; they're one-way hashed first.
- Crash & diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics) — crash reports and basic technical context (app version, OS, device model) so we can fix bugs.
- Purchases (Apple App Store) — MarkDock Pro is processed entirely by Apple. We receive only purchase/entitlement status, never your payment details.
What we do not collect
No document contents
No raw file names or paths
No accounts or sign-up
No servers storing your data

Your choices
Turn off diagnostics anytime in MarkDock → Settings → “Analytics enabled.” This stops both usage analytics and crash collection.
Data retention
Diagnostic data is kept per Firebase's default retention and used only to operate and improve MarkDock. It is never sold or used for advertising.
Children
MarkDock isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA (e.g. access or deletion). Since we don't keep accounts, just email us and we'll help.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves; material changes are reflected by the date above.
